This position is located in a Mid Level Hospital Facility located in Mayfield Kentucky. There is a sign on bonus of up to $15,000.
Duties Include:
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Documents patient care given
Must Have:
A valid and current KY Rn license OR compact State License, BLS required one month from hire date, ACLS six months from hire date.
This is a Senior Level position.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Required:
Associate’s Degree in related field. BLS. NRP. AWHON Certification. Current Kentucky RN Licensure in good standing.
NOT Required but would be favorable:
Bachelor’s Degree or greater in related field. Supervisory experience in a hospital setting. Qualified to work in Women’s Services/OB
This is a mid-level hospital facility.
Sign On Bonus of $10,000.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient and family. Monitors surgical asepsis, sterile technique, prepares and positions patient for the procedure. Ensures all equipment, supplies and instrumentation are validated and present prior to procedure. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and cirumstances throughout the perioperative process. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Circulator Experience…WILL ONLY INTERVIEW RNs WITH CIRCULATOR EXPERIENCE. Associate’s Degree Nursing: Required, validated by the presence of an active Kentucky RN Licensure. BLS within 30 days. Must be able to take call.
